I have one in Jan…. I’m 28. I’ve had various digestive issues for years, since I was a kid. had endoscopy earlier this year Nd now it’ll be the colonoscopy
I’m 36 now and I’ve had Crohn’s disease since i was 13, so probably on about 9 or 10 colonoscopy procedures now, not bad at all, prep has gotten somewhat simpler too and easier. The first few time they only used anesthesia that provide a semi conscious state, that was different lol, but for many years now they have just put the patients right to sleep, best nap of the year

Nice upgrade in elevation, close to where I am now. I'll save my pennies. @CoastalWx @Damage In Tolland

Best neighborhood in Canton for large houses and elevation lol, my family developed that subdivision when I was in high school… all custom homes over 4000 sqft and some awesome views

Think of places where there are yoga pants, spin classes, lattes, and liberals. That's the only place I have a prayer with my wife. She likes civilization. I have an outside shot at Canton, maybe, if I'm lucky. Simsbury might be my best chance overall to get a good elevation and make her happy. PITA. If it was up to me, I'd buy a lot and build a mansion, set up a camera, and pretend I'm phin.
Plenty of high ground here in Canton, especially North Canton, great schools and 5-10 min drive to rt 44, cycle bar and all the yoga pants you desire and plenty of libs too

Nice. Still gotta get you down to more of those SW FL beaches. Did you and Alison hit the shops in Naples before? The Gulf Coast from about your spot southward has to be one of my favorite spots in the country (minus Tampa).
We try to visit Fort Myers Beach every couple years, love the gulf side beaches and vibe ftw

Not necessarily friend. First hand reports from parents have been adamant that armed officials stood outside while the terrorist was inside shooting, while they awaited the swat team. He was in there for a very long time. Too long.
Yup… just read a few news stories of parents going in themselves to grab their children while the cops just waited on the perimeter… sounds eerily similar to the Cheshire invasion here in CT where the police surround the house while the murderers finished the job and burned the house down.

Hey guys- took ur advice last year and bought a dethatcher then over seeded. Looks great.
Question is: what’s the timeline for application of milorganite( my fert of choice), grub killer and Pre-emergent for crab grass? And In what order? I see some people starting now but seems too early for me. Any help would be appreciated. Also- am I missing any steps? Should I vigorously spring rake or would that ruin the sprouts from last fall?
I’ve had good luck putting down the dimension around the time forsythia fully blooms or a little after…. Grubex I usually apply sometime in June

Here's my list of CT towns we're looking at:
Glastonbury, west Hartford, Simsbury, Cheshire, South Windsor....
You should check out Canton, we’re right next to Simsbury, schools are just as good or better, cheaper taxes and we have some neighborhoods with 800-1000’ elevation for the ⛄️

A lot of posts validating why I hate spring. Roll to Father’s Day. By then it’s more reliably nice. I have refused to go to a night game here before 6/15. The one time I broke down was 2014 when a Boston/Oakland game in late April was played with me in full winter gear with temperatures in the mid 30s and misery mist.
I think the coldest I have ever felt personally was a mid may Sox night game and I was obviously not paying attention to the weather thinking it would be like CT, my god what a raw cold night that was probably 5 or 6 years ago, I think I had the chills for a week after

Already starting to green up here thanks to the late fall fert app…..hopefully can get a raking in next weekend too busy yesterday…. Hickory nuts ftl

And so it begins….the first of many soakers on the way that ruin the so called great forecast. Ahhh early spring in SNE, such a glorious time of year…said no one.
Maybe we can line up another wet and dank memorial day and July 4th if we’re lucky

I don’t think of this area as a shit winter. I am far enough east to have still cashed in to a smaller degree . I’m at 48”.. avg is 60”. So if I grab 2-4” tomorrow . I’ll end in low 50’s. Below normal snowfall but had basically full snow pack Jan- Feb and first week of Morch other than a handful of days. I rate days with snow OTG very high in my winter grade. Doesn’t have to be deep as long as it’s white. So I’ve been “ok” with this winter here. You go 5-10 miles west or NW of here.. the gradient decreases markedly . The one thing about here is if there’s a late bloomer or an E MA special.. we at least get some snow here . HFD and west though. They got boned
Yep we’re definitely far below average around here

Just under 5 inches here in New Hartford. 5 Inches has been a popular storm total here all winter.
I was thinking the same thing, feel like we had 5” 4 different times this winter

The old days of the 80’s growing up . NW CT always jacked . There were never the E Mass jacks other than the rare blizzard of 78 type storm . It was always the deep interior. So something has definitely shifted over these past 25 years. Even my area now.. I have done better than I ever used to do . I’d always get like 14-16 in the biggies . Over the last decade I have jacked or come close more than ever . The pattern has definitely shifted east
It’s very interesting… growing up I always remember north of 84 and west of 91 leading the way snowfall wise even in the 90s…. like you said the change is to move everything east for the last 20 years or so
