Any CT peeps watching NBC30 this morning? The meteorologist was a fill in I haven’t seen before, almost seemed like a national network guy, didn’t have any locales besides Hartford on his map and I think he was working remotely he wasn’t in the studio, probably just me but I hadn’t seen anything like before on local channels here

My wife teaches in Ashford. She said she saw 4-5 trees down in Tolland .. 3 in Ashford . Had to turn around multiple times. As she got near her school huge pine across both lanes and a car came speeding from other direction , hit it , went airborne and then skidded into woods. All while she was trying to turn around .
Crazy, Canton called it at the last minute, too many trees down

Frequently shadowed off the Greens. Many apply it to Alb too, but they rarely shadow much unless it's a screaming east wind. The 'Dacks through the Greens should really clean up with this one.
Woodford VT should clean up

Haven't read since yesterday. This is first thing I saw. Afd now as I get home from errands. Sounds OK with me.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued accordingly for the slopes of the Berkshires as well as Hartford county, though only the extreme northwest portion of Hartford county is expected to see impacts from this system.
Feels like they’re eyeing West Granby, Hartland, and probably North Canton

I looped ALB radar 2 hours ago and saw it and made a post about it . You could see it starting then . I still think we see a 6-10” zone somewhere in Central MA/ CT. Didn’t get the bust /early over calls .But maybe they’ll be right
I bet Winsted, Colebrook, Norfolk pull down 8”
