  1. Well that most likely mean the NAM really has no clue if this is correct?
  2. It’s supposed to be like 10 degrees again tomorrow night. And places north and west where a foot of snow or more will fall all districts will be closed
  3. Your post is making it like the area isn’t seeing much lol…. I’m 30 miles north of the city and still could see a foot.
  4. Nobody said it wasn’t going to sleet! You always seem to flip what people are saying. I still think 6-10 in the city is doable and areas north and west will see over a foot. I reside 30 miles north of the city and even with the NAM showing sleet up here around 4pm the damage has been done already with 8-12” by that time
  5. Im sorry but rates that high as the NAM is showing the changeover is way to aggressive!
  6. Yeah we are all pretty sure you said that about the NAM like 5 times yesterday!
  7. Those rates right to the north of the mix would be insane… like 2-3” an hour
  8. why has the euro consistently been showing the least amount of pecip.... like several of the models are double this run!
  9. so you think im sitting pretty good in Northern Westchester?
  10. I am in Northern Westchester, north of 287 by 10 miles. I think my area should be good for 10-15” plus a little sleet
  11. The sleet will be on top of 8-12” of snow and on at the base so yes will be heavier to shovel but all good.
  12. I said it earlier the models are beefing up the QPF which can be a really good thing because if part of the subforum does sleet the few hours before it will rip like crazy at 2-3” an inch or a couple to few hours. These models aren’t gospel and don’t accurately predict how much snow can and will fall before any changeover.
  13. All three models are short range models for a reason. Let’s see the rest first before sending out alarms.
  14. Seems like the QPf is slowly increasing. Does anybody agree??
  15. way drier is an exaggeration... it shows 1.1QPF for the city and mostly the whole forum is at 1" QPF or higher and its colder and a bit further south which would guarantee more snow. So its a better run in my opinion!
  16. It starts like before 7am on Sunday according to the NAM and does stop until 1am Monday. I definitely could see future runs juicing up the QPF a bit. Some localized areas could see 16-20" just not sure where.
  17. And if that happens we probably dont dryslot and the whole area stays all snow like you said
  18. So do you guys think the data from recon was thrown into that ICON run because that was a great run??
  19. Who's right on the edge.... central NJ or the city or LI..... I'm 30 miles north of the CITY. So explain who you mean by WE ARE?
  20. Its the same with every storm, nothing is going to change this go around!
  21. AND THATS JUST THE 10:1..... IMAGINE KUCHERA! LOL
