Snow depth map vs. the 10-1 is just crazy in how different it is. Could be a lot of frozen precip (i.e., sleet, frza) on top of any snow.

    Depth:

Euro, if real, looks terrific. 3-6 inches across the metro area. We take and sprint.

It doesn’t even have to stick to the roads, but the green grass turning white will be a sight for sore eyes. Fingers remain crossed though.

Just looked at the 0z euro. Holy cow it’s a stone cold assassin. Looks substantially colder than the GFS and makes the flip back to snow/mix Friday morning with the ULL pass.

How’s the Euro look for the likes of you, me, and @osfan24? Think we can score 1-2? Will I see you at the top of the sledding hill?

Yes, EURO is a good run many given the time of year. I'm sure many would lock it up. :snowing:

This does all get washed away though.

Be great to just get on the board early.  Can we get a shift south though for Eastern HoCo. I don’t want to be that “FRINGED” guy.

Regarding the forum discussion, in college, I liked snow. I still like snow. If you ask me if I have ever seen a whiteout, I'll reply, "Have you?!?"

Regarding the beer discussion, my local beer Jesus (if you saw him and spoke to him, you'd understand) suggested the Yeti Imperial Stout, now in six packs instead of four packs at a reasonable price, or the seasonal Sierra Nevada Narwhal Stout. I went with the Sierra Nevada because it is seasonal and I think they are an under-rated brewery. Also reasonably priced and good.

On the homebrew front, I'll be legging my imperial pumpkin ale this weekend and it'll be ready next weekend for anyone that wants to stop by and not talk politics. There's also a New England IPA and a cream ale on draft.

The beer geeks in here need to get together soon. Since I independently rep Key, Duclaw, Hysteria, True Respite, and Charm City Mead, we might have a few things to chat about...and drink.

Looks like a nice storm hitting my yard currently.  Here in N. Myrtle there's a line of  storms about 40 miles to the west ...hoping to get some action tonight

I’m in N Myrtle too! Got some good storms last night for sure.

Actually not as high on our chances now. That area around DC hasn't advanced much and seems to pressing east a bit. Probably going to end more over the bay than in the Baltimore area, and all that stuff down by Richmond is going well east. Looks like it's our turn to miss out this week.

Damn it!  What a shame. We could really use some rain for the drought stricken areas of Howard County. We haven’t had a drop rain since 7 seconds ago.

  8. I remember having the neighbors over that evening. I was splitting my time between the raging excitement on this board vs. the excitement of 4 bottles of world class wine that we plowed through.. Hurting the next AM, the fresh snow cleared my head in an instant. The kids and I had a blast just playing and shoveling all morning. Good times for sure.
