Fell asleep as the Euro came out. Just woke up now to see the pretty in pink GFS Kuchera. I’ll take that with the first cup of coffee and wish everyone and great Saturday of tracking ahead. Good times around the corner...

I can’t believe I’m up for the Euro. Hope it’s worth it.

That jackpot region better come north. I don’t want Richmond stealing any extra white gold from us.

Well, thats great to hear, I did posted that a little while ago, but I was reading the entire thread and came across this .
I feel you might enjoy. ( unless you saw it too ) .
I have read HM every day for the last 15 years , back to Wright Weather days, and dial up, and it is not often HM will allude to a weather period as possibly being "bad-ass "
I’ve been following HM forever as well. Let’s just hope he didn’t mean “ass bad”.

Holy Mappy!! Just catching up. And now I “2 eyes looking left emoji” need a minute alone...
This winter is going to be insane...
Eta: Just want to make sure we weren’t in storm mode? Asking for a friend.

FV3 is the perfect track/evolution for the d9-10 deal. I'll be hugging the 12z run unless the euro ups the ante.
Yes! Like a blast from the past. Good stuff.

The only model I trust at this range is the CRAS.

FWIW—If anyone follows Bernie Rayno on Twitter, he’s not hyping, but does feel pretty good about next Tuesday / Wednesday for the outlined area. Just watch his Periscope if you have a sec. Gist of it, thinks it’s a sneaky storm. Don’t look past it. Said he could see how someone could get a 3-6” type deal.

Probably wouldn't bother looking at the 06Z GFS. No Tuesday/Wednesday storm and it drives the Dec 8-10 storm into the lakes.
Toss it and stick to the EPS.

Yeah, I know. The version we a have now though is new enough that I am not sure if the suppression rule is still in play or not. At times it seemed as if it were and other times not so much.
When does the FV3 get launched?
I hear it’s scheduled departure for the moon is inevitable. Kennedy Space Center working out the deets.
Anyway—back to selling beer and tracking mood of the forum...

Can't figure out the panic to be honest with you. We are still in November, 2-3 weeks before I consider legitimate winter and many already have snow under their belt with some substantially so. Granted the PAC goes to hell but I feel that will be shortly lived and there are already signs showing up on the models that will be the case. We will probably be back to a favorable PAC before Christmas.
The biggest problem I’ve seen so far.....way too many weenies came out of hibernation way too soon! Now everyone is all Polar Vortex perturbed and whatnot. We need to relax. Maybe if we all got together for a Friendsgiving...in two weeks...at Chills house? I know I’d feel better...

Huh...front end snow on the 4th cutter from the FV3. This weekends storm drags the baroclinic zone and cold air much farther south than the op GFS.
Definitely drops a few inches before washing it away. Maybe we skip the washing away part though.

I love A-basin and Loveland. Laid back atmosphere where it's about the skiing and not everything else. Would love to try that loop sometime!
And here I am on Cyber Monday buying discounted lift tickets for F’ing Whitetail, Liberty, and Roundtop. Well I’ll at least pray for some epic conditions in January and February. It’s the best I can do until one day Colorado.

Plenty of the regular, for sure. Variants are a different story. I grabbed one bottle at the Whole Foods down here in Hinton Head. I also popped into World if Beer and had tasters of the regular and Midnight Orange. Buddy of mine grabbed a couple more bottles of regular and one of vanilla for me.
Gotta love all the Black Friday beer releases now. How was Retribution Day? Buddies also grabbed a bunch of the first-ever Aslin Black Friday stouts. Decentvteviews so far.
The Caramel Cookie and Apple Brandy Barrel Retribution (2016) are silly good. If anyone ever wants to get together for a barrel aged beer tasting...raising hand here.

So C.A.P.E., nwbalt, Scraff...anyone grab BCBS (and/or variants) yesterday?
I have not grabbed any. I spent all my money at Duclaw Retribution Day.

Man I hope our winter looks better than my WVU Defense. Like straight Swiss F’ing Cheese.

I'm not expecting any kind of sig event through the first 10-15 days of Dec. Anything strong and organized is most likely going to be more wet than white. Which is completely normal in any December. First half of the month rarely if ever has a widespread warning level event. Still a big fight with temps due to climo. Advisory and/or mixed events are usually the best our area can eek out.
I do believe the chances are above normal for a decent event sometime during Dec though. I also believe the chances of widespread panic are above normal as the days go by with no blizzards showing up on long range ops.
Let’s chat in 2 weeks.

That high up north slid out way too quick for anyone’s liking. I’m tossing this run.
