  1. Agree. Nobody needs good set ups or snow chances before Thanksgiving......well except @Ji
  2. Brrrrr, but finally the end of bug season!
  3. Hope we can see that kind of QPF in DJF.......so we can watch it snow north of us.
  4. Don’t look at 6z unless you want all greens on the map. Glad we can start tracking though.
  5. The DMV winters for your analogs of 1970-71 and 1999-2000 would be acceptable. 2007-2008 not so much, though would still be better than last winters sadness. Haha.
  6. Too early to put all my chips in? Or maybe the “it’s happening” gif?
  7. You shaved off one eyebrow!? That has to be good luck!!
  8. I’d put money on all the remnants staying south and having a sunny Saturday emerge. Kinda of a preview of how our winter will go. Looks great 5 days out, and then in actuality...
  9. The only rain in MD. My house. Lol. WTF!? I need to grill!!
  10. That’s because the Sterling radar has been broken and offline for a few days now. I thought it was supposed to be fixed yesterday, but that doesn’t seem to be the case this morning.
  11. F it! It’s over. Let’s aim for a drought.
  12. Insanity on that derecho. Reports of 20 minutes of sustained winds of 80+ mph eta: Midway, IA had a gust to 112!
  13. So boring with that west to east crap. Give me southwest to northeast woo storms. Way more fun !
  14. I am practically around the corner from you, but just a mile or two made a difference for us. I’m straddling that green and yellow. I hope all of Eastern Hoco gets some reds today though.
  15. I’m just west of you on the Elkridge/Columbia line. Wondering if this hits me head on at some point. I might consider jumping in the car though to get some good pictures too. eta: looking at radar, that storm is in no hurry to go anywhere fast. I could see it easily missing east at this point.
  16. Anyone up in Middle River or Essex area? Strong rotation it would seem on that cell.
  17. Ummmm. Is there some rotation on that Catonsville storm?
  18. Had to go just west. Took my daughter on our first storm chase. She manned the radar and was a great co-pilot. Down to Long Gate on rt 100, back to Long Reach HS. Poured on and off. Weak lightning though. Total meh. Just home. Not a fricking drop here. Hope more is coming tonight that hits. Now back to some Cushwa Double IPA.
  19. I’m pumped! Maybe a good night for a Jebwalk in the rain...if I want to struck by lightning. I do once again love overnight storms. Soooooo soothing...
