  1. Got down to 0.5 in Tamaqua this morning. I thought for sure it would go below zero. From the remember when files, I knew I took pics from the record setting Christmas of 2015...
  2. After a high of 52 in Tamaqua, it's currently 4. That's a drop (so far) of 48 degrees in a little over 12 hours. Anyone else have stats?
  3. Still 40 in Tamaqua, so it hasn't gotten there yet as of 9:35am.
  4. Nice! Glad I wasn't there to enjoy it. That water run would have been a bite today.
  5. Where's our Pillow resident? I wanna know how much he got out on my old water route from Tower City to Sunbury. Here's what it looks like where I'm at right now, delivering at a Petsmart in Mesa.
  6. This forum is getting a bit too kinky for my liking...
  7. Post em to Facebook, copy the pic, then delete the Facebook post. That's how I post my pics here. Facebook automatically reduces the file size, which is then under the limit for attachments here.
  8. Is this what they mean when they say weather porn?
  9. So since wind (and cold) seem to be the headlines for this storm, how strong will the winds be?
  10. Considering I used to roll through there 4-6 times per day, 4 days per week, I might have spent more time in "downtown" Pillow than you did.
  11. I just was perusing, and was going to post that 18z looked a tad bit better than 12z.
  12. This is true, but it seems to hold truer with out to sea solutions coming back to the coast. Over the years, it seemed more often than not, once they cut, they don't come back.
  13. How many times has this road been taken, though? So many storms 7-10 days out looked great, only to go bad prior to game time.
  14. It was impressive, though, from a pure meteorological standpoint. It would be an ugly, and perhaps dangerous, night for many.
  15. Yup. I agree. Just putting it out there for discussion. Last night they had Tamaqua at 24 for the high on Friday, and this morning it was 38...lol
  16. They must have done it to most zones, because Tamaqua is the same.
  17. I had one of those in Tamaqua as well. Can't remember the year, though, but it was in that general era. We got 6 inches of morning snow that was so low cloud based that it never even showed on radar.
  18. CTP's early forecast for Tamaqua for the late week event. Take it with a grain of salt, as it will likely change somewhat, but I guess it's their current feelings based on current model output AND meteorological knowledge. Wednesday Night A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Thursday Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 31. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Thursday Night Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Friday A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  19. I can't understand why year after year, so many storms want to cut. Then all we (now you) end up with is Miller b's that sometimes do well. Many times they're either incredibly tainted, or you get the dryslot from hell.
