just went out and walked around in it for the first time. Decent accumulation. I'd guess somewhere around an inch. Perfect snow to make a snowman. Really pretty out. I would have loved a nice 4-5 inch snow, but i'll take whatever this turns out to be and enjoy it in the morning with my 4 year old
coming down pretty good in N. Durham. Tiny tiny flakes, but a ton of them. Plenty for my 4 year old to play in tomorrow, so i'm happy. Anything that comes over the next few hours is gravy.
the guy that said its going to bust has been one of the two most pessimistic people on this board i've seen over the last few weeks. Hes constantly calling bust. Just ignore
road is white here in north durham. I could see getting an inch or two out of this which I should be thankful for i guess. Gonna need some heavier returns to reach that though
dont mean to turn this into the sanitarium, so this will be my last post on it in here...but man the last decade between being in durham and stallings i've been 15 miles away from snow it feels like. Just too far south or just too far east, now just too far west. Its wild...seems i'm the bad luck charm. I just want a decent snow so my 4 year old can play in it. 2-3 inches would be good...hoping to still get that out of this one
Fearing i'm going to be a bit too far NW for anything semi-significant here...but we'll ride it out. Hope everyone gets through the night safely and wakes up tomorrow with more than forecasted!
im moving back to that area in March...i lived there for 7 years before moving to Durham in 2020. I know how sparse winter weather is down there. One reason im really hoping for a big hit in the remaining winter. Might be the last one i see for a long while.
This is me. This storm has been discussed to death over the last week to be honest. Now its just wait and see mode. If there were any "goods" to discuss, we would be
