    Shout out to the smart weather folks on the board who identified this week’s snow opportunities weeks ago. Very impressive stuff, guys.

    Marginal temps where? Northern tier lows will be in the low 20's overnight (high teens in the Catoctins) with snow beginning around 3am and with snow pack on the ground. If that's marginal, we're all in a lot of trouble.

    Disagree with that last part. The very problem is that they cut back on totals in the northern tier where we agree the best totals will be. Makes no sense given the model trends in the last 12 hours.

    No idea what they've seen that made them cut back on totals since last night. If anything, they should have increased them in some areas.

    1-3 inches on top of what we got already this week is a win in my book. Expectations are always important.

    Last week was a little tough. We did really well in my area, while places just to my south and east got barely anything. So great to see nearly the entire forum crushing it this evening. 23.3F and light snow right now.

    I’ll admit, I was skeptical on this second thread. But the new juju along with DT cancelling the storm last night has really turned this baby around.

    Spot on and I think Mitch said the same above. Hoping for a resolution that gets more of us on the board. An inch or two would be fine given expectations.

    Switched over to pingers about 20 minutes ago, final measurement was 5.9 on the board. Would love to hear some totals out towards Hancock, betting they made out well. Best storm here in a long while.

    We got into that band as well! Big hitter. Just switched over to some sleet, final measurement is 5.9 here. It’s gorgeous!

    Some of the heaviest snow I’ve seen since my move to Greencastle over the last hour. Will be curious to get a measurement. Awesome band.

    Lived in Waynesboro for a few years! Great area. Work in Hagerstown, but weekend snow doesn’t impact that, lol. Glad to hear we’re all getting some snow around here!

    Sitting right on the M/D, and measured 2.8 inches about an hour ago. Temp is 29.8F. Has been pouring snow since the last measurement, so definitely 3+ out there. Already ahead of most models predictions, lol. Hoping to catch some of those awesome bands to our west before it’s over.

    It’s been the most stubborn model for days now. Hopefully it’s in the right ballpark, at least.
