  1. Hopefully they ban this troll soon.
  2. We've had a couple more crap days/events this month than down there...4 days with highs in the 40s already here for May. 2005 definitely got off to a better start than we have this month, but the more data I looked at it was obvious that SNE, and especially the coast, had it worse than we did in 05. It's not like I'm claiming it was nice, but the core of the schit was definitely down there.
  3. Yeah...the first half was cool, but a lot of freezes and fair weather. It was that 7-10 day stretch at the end of the month that was putrid. CON finished the month with 5 days in the 70s and 1 in the 80s. So far they have yet to hit 70F this month. Maybe they can squeak a few out the middle of next week.
  4. I'd argue that this has been worse than May 05 so far up here. I think departures were a little greater in SNE than here though. Through the first 10 days of the month ORH and CON are running about 6F BN for max temps with more dreadful days to come. May 05 was near normal for precip too so it's not like we pulled off some kind of obscene 7-8" month.
  5. We've had a ton of rain. It's been terrible. At least we got out of the 40s today.
  6. Jesus. That looks like the first week of April or something.
  7. I'm guessing there's some high terrain snow in WNE/E NY Sun night based on the crappy public euro maps? That ULL means business.
  8. 5/14 low max records CON 47F (1948) MHT 46F (2006) PWM 46F (1931) BOS 47F (1931*) ORH 46F (2006*) BDL 50F (1948*) PVD 47F (1948) BTV 51F (1973*)
  9. It's like you stole that quote right out of his mind.
  10. We're almost due for a Kevin post where he concedes and congratulates everyone for getting the miserable weather that he thinks we all supposedly want.
  11. Happy Mother's day to all of the moms. Enjoy your nor'eastah.
  12. 19F at IMT this morning. Congrats to them.
  13. That'll be one heck of a freeze in the upper midwest tonight...lots of upper 10s and 20s. Glad we don't live there.
  14. Could be a rare May flip to a -KWO.
  15. lol. As if it looks worse for NJ than here.
  16. We're due for a shiat May and torch June.
  17. lol...try to twist those maps into something warm and pleasant.
  18. The obs had 32F all during the day until late afternoon...probably warmed to one of those 32.6F deals. https://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KORH/1977/5/9/DailyHistory.html?req_city=Worcester&req_state=MA&req_statename=&reqdb.zip=01602&reqdb.magic=12&reqdb.wmo=99999
  19. May can correlate if the blocking is extreme enough.
  20. 1.5 month temp anomalies don't tell you much, but the next 2 weeks could easily give you that -1F leaving the following few weeks normal to above. I've already conceded May through mid month. Of course, we're talking a d46 2m ens mean which is equivalent or worse than a d16 op prog.
  21. Ah...the admiral of arctic. The next couple of weeks look meh, but I'm not too worried about 2m temp anomalies of -0.3C over the next 46 days. Give me some consistent westerly flow/high pressure and sun by mid month and those temps would be nice.
  22. Nah. Trough axis west. Just cool with dews.
