My ground is wet/frozen and I still have 6" of glacier to melt. I have no worries here, but I can understand some of the concern further south.

I'd assume they'd want to keep the sites spaced out like you alluded to. Maybe FMH would be a good spot...they're manned at the coast guard air station already.

It actually started the afternoon on 3/13 and finished up during the morning on the 14th. Had about 18” of new snow depth in Auburn.

Yeah...we'll see how the EPS looks, but that's a monster trough building into the western US so at least there's some upper level support for a prolonged big warm up. We'll probably be under a trough on the 00z run though.
