Not sure if someone locally is having a fire or if the Canadian smoke has made its way here, but I can smell smoke draining in through the windows. Looked like it was creeping in here in the final vis shots of the evening.
Strangely they haven’t been too bad here. Usually they’re before the skeeters and those are starting to emerge now. The midges have been more annoying that usual. And the ticks are off the charts.
I’ll take that euro run…just keep the heaviest axis south of here. 1” will feel like Stein compared to recent weekends.
Goofus is north of the St Lawrence. Best case for all.
CMC splits the difference and floods NNE.
Finally mowed around the pawpaw grove tonight…can’t get through there with the rider (fences around trees) and the push mower hasn’t been working. $13 carb replacement later and it’s better than ever.
Oh yeah. Have to add up the increments…always fun with the snow cores and melting down the snow and subtracting out what you add in…sometimes 3”+. I just didn’t want to mess with it while it was actively raining…hence asking PF for the estimate since VT likes to do rainstorms in inches and not tenths. lol
