Beautiful day…mid 70s with low 60s dews, partial sun, and a nice breeze. Perfect for this time of year.

Looks like the radar keeps filling in over eastern NH, but is dry west of the Whites.
Is this because there's an easterly fetch happening?
Could be some upglide over the wedge, but a lot of this is low level crud that doesn’t get “seen” until getting closer to the beam too. Some of the echoes on ENX a couple hours ago were disappearing as they moved east toward us.

Most of the orchards up here lost their entire apple crop from the May hard freeze. Sucks.

Eh. $140?
Why not just a clump river birch or something? Trees should be like half off at local nurseries right now.

lol, You young bucks already making plans for FL.
Nah…mtns of NC are as far south as I’d go. I love SW FL, but I can’t grow the plants I want down there.

All kidding aside, I do enjoy the warm season. Last winter broke me. Another winter like that and I'll be looking at condos in APF.
AVL looks better to me every year. Short winters, the chance of a biggie, and long warm summers. Average annual min since 2000 of 9F for a solid 7B growing zone. They haven't even gotten below 20F there in 2 of the last 3 winters.

Pleasantly warm over the interior at noon with full sun. I'll cut Scoot some slack since it looks a little cooler along the shore down there with a little cirrus thrown in as well.

August model and weather disco
in New England

Partly sunny and mostly cloudy are essentially the same thing…depends if you’re a half full or half empty kinda guy.
But there’s been a chance of showers in our region for many days on modeling.
