  1. GFS is still mostly southern stream driven…that was juiced coming out of TX vs 6z. I can’t help but think the northern stream phasing in will be a bigger player in the end.
  2. Of course you’d have to be clearing every 6hrs as well. A more prolonged event with amounts that high and you start dealing with the weight of the snow upon itself.
  3. I can’t believe there are trees still standing in northern MN
  4. If you need advice posting from tapatalk consult lava rock. (Or apparently primshine too)
  5. What I mean is getting a lot of convection firing down south and having the latent heating (condensation) pump the downstream ridge more.
  6. I sense a little Ray jack fetish with him. He likes systems where he’s getting more than anyone else…even if it’s 1-3”. He’s quieter when he’s getting 10” and I95 is pulling 15-20”.
  7. The last diamond dust ons in CON. Sad. 8. And to Will’s point…when I said “nothing to suppress it” I wasn’t implying that a cutter was an option. Just that there’s technically room to go more north.
  9. There’s really nothing to suppress the downstream flow anymore over our region ahead of the system. I think if we could tuck that PV lobe a little more SW we could amplify it a little more and get that trough tilting negative. But the vortmax is already plowing through LI sound on the 6z euro.
  10. I think you already did. You may be the coldest in the county. Is that unshielded?
  11. Check this 6z gfs sounding over AL. Near -30c at the sfc and near 0c at h85.
  12. Let’s get $5/lb oranges
  13. GFS 2m fantasy like when it gives us 113° in July
  14. 24” for Wilmington and 11” for Methuen when all is said and done?
  15. Way too early to be worrying about coastal front exhaust.
