  1. 68 / 63 with 0.80 in the bucket (so far).  Clouds and showers today, clearing by later today or by sunset.  Warmer / drier by Thu (9/8).   Ridge builds along the coast by Fri (9/9) and into the weekend with onshore / southerly humid flow.  Warm with 80s for most this weekend.  Rockies Ridge still locked in through the weekend with tropical storm Kay perhaps bringing some rains and breezes to Southern California (it don't rain n southern california)  By Sunday night the front approaching from the GL/OV and bumping up against the ridge nd crawls east cutting off.  Mon (9/12) - Wed (9/14) the next rain opportunity.

Beyond there- the Rockies ridge is forced east as a deep trough pushes into the WC, this will build heights into the EC by later next week and perhaps next shot for some late season heat and an overall warm look to the second half of the month.

  2. 73/70 0.19 in the bucket and moderate rain.  Looking like an area wide 1 - 3 (+) inches for most some places could exceed that.   Clear things out ater Wed. Thu (9/8) back to sunshine and drying things out.  Western Atlantic Ridge builds west by the end of the week and this weekend with more southerly flow and humid.  Temps look maxed in the 80s.  Front approaches from the GL by Mon (9/12) and is slow to clear and depending on the position of the ridge along the east coast could produce more soaking rains Mon - Wed (9/14) next week.  Perhaps more north of the area.  Beyond there the Rockies ridge looks to relocate more east into the Plains and heights rise along the EC. Looks like an overall warmer second half for Sep,

Today may be the last shot in a while at upper 80s to around 90 for the warm spots in NJ. Unusually  strong -NAO for early September will cool things down going forward. So expect more comfortable highs in the 70s this week before 80s return by next weekend.

It will be interesting to see and track, but the Rockies Ridge may be forced east by the middle of next week and setup more ridging towards the end of next week / next weekend (mid month) timeframe 9/16.

  5. 74 / 69 with some sun poking through.  Majority of the steady rain to fall late today and Tue (9/6) - into Wed (9/7) looking like a solid 2+ for most spots.

Rockies ridge locked in ad the Western Atlantic Ridge builds west this coming weekend.  Drier but still cool Thu (9/8) more humid onshore / southerly flow by this Friday (9/9) and into the weekend.

Front is slow to clear by early next week and cutos off west of the region, likely comes through at some point next Tue (9/13) / Wed (9/14) perhaps more heavy rainfall .).

Longer range Rockies ridge pushes east into the plains and GL by mid month and overall warm / with building heights for the second half of the month.

  7. 74 / 67 and some clouds and sun.  Clouds likely in the way of any 90s today ahead of the rains Mon (9/5) - Wed (9/7).  Solid 2 or more for many, i think this may over perform and like that from dry to deluge, it was just a matter of time.  By Thursday (9/8) we are clearing out as the Western Atlantic Ridge is building west more humid/warm flow by this Fri (9/9) and into next weekend.  Front slowed west of the region could be slow to clear or may cut off by Mon 9/12.  Beyond there ridge looks to rebuild and push overall warm air into the EC in the way beyond.  If no 90s today next shot may not come till next weekend or after mid month.
