Froze my nuts off in Windber (Somerset county, elevation about 1,600 ft) last night at football. It's too early for this nonsense. Also the leaves are turning. I think the August winter we just had along with the Great Drought of 2024 has the trees messed up.

That FOX contract really sucks ass. ABC drew 8.2 million viewers last weekend for Notre Dame vs A&M, and 9.2 million the following night for LSU vs USC in prime time. Half the country is rubbing the crust out of their faces before the Big Noon kickoff and then you have nine other games going on.

80°F and it feels like ass outside. Jr High football starts this evening so it's off to Juniata Valley with this guy. Their school is right in the middle of pastureland so my sequoia tree ass is getting incredible odds for lightning strike. Can't wait.

Prepare to move on. Phillies have ten home games left after this weekend and a lot of games against contenders. They're going to need an innings eater at some point. They intentionally left out any leverage pitchers today with the NLDS this weekend. He may not miss a start.

We're in daycare for three days a week (grandma handles the rest) and this daycare up here is a West African village with the amount of disease that originates inside those doors. I think they've taken turns being patient zero on multiple diseases over the last year plus.

I think Halloween in August last week kick-started cold and flu season around here. Little guy started snotting on Friday and spent the weekend running like a faucet. Got him swabbed at his 30-month we'll visit last week which came back for the common ass cold. Fun times. Bring back the heat.

I don't think that has ever stopped me from providing it. I grew up in a "You speak when spoken to family" and spoke anyway, which resulted in a lot of back hands. I was born in the 80s back before looking at a child wrong sent your anus to Leavenworth, and so by the time I was 8, I had already been through multiple sets of teeth. I was ten once at the dentist for a cleaning and the dentist noticed the teeth he was checking had different growth rings than those the girl he was screwing on the side had cleaned last, and he asked what happened and I told them that I was told to "say what one more goddamned time," and by the time the wedding ring smashed my mouth, I had said what four additional times.

I mean... no lol. Although State is 3-2 all-time versus Texas and the last meeting was a 30-6 pummeling, that meeting was... *Checks notes* 27 years ago.
