I think my yard could use a trimming. It rained for about eight solid hours last night. Radiant sunshine this morning should send the grass that ain't dead through the roof and the clovers are running wild.

Right. I'm at Lake Tobias this past Saturday and we went down the safari ride to the little woods and the tour guide mentioned how they had a 1,000 gallon water truck that could come down and replenish the drinking water for the creatures. As he said that, we drove past what was about two solid pisses' worth of fluid. Apparently their philosophy is "fuck them animals," because the truck was still hanging out with the other trucks.

The Juniata is a month away from just being another nature trail in quite a few spots. The West Branch Susky in Curwensville is all but gone.

I believe it. I was in both Franklin (neighboring Warshington county in MD) and Dauphin counties this past weekend. They're not even comparable.

I've seen maybe a half an hour of drizzle in the past month. But MDT has gotten 45 minutes of drizzle 100 miles away, it's been less shitty.

I'm telling you, yesterday I drove through parts of Clearfield, Centre (was in State College in the afternoon), Blair, Huntingdon, Fulton, and Franklin counties and the further SE I went, the browner it got. And I'm pretty goddamned brown and crunchy up here. It's bad. The winter rains on Sadderday have us spared currently from burn bans and water restrictions. But that's coming.

I think Bubbler has stated before, but the 14/19 Saturday rains from January through May are what is keeping the entire Commonwealth from being D3.
