  1. Sun is large and in charge out this way. Quickly approaching 90.
  2. Lol no admonition there but it's funny that 2003 was the Aaron Fn Boone year and then in 2004 the Sox turned the tide and came back from down 3-1 down. Maybe if the Yankees are able to slam the door shut, this conversation is more about the threat of severe weather tomorrow and not now everyone hush hush hates the Red Sox but is afraid to say it because it may make the Yankees a tiny little bit less punchable.
  3. I agree their winning the series in 2004 changed how Red Sox fans conducted themselves, but I think the Patriots in 2001/2002 set the tone. Although in 2003 Pedro Martinez threw Don Zimmer on the ground, which makes me laugh like a hyena to this day
  4. What does "Cowboy Up" even mean? Oh so you need to bareback a horse for a hundred miles before lighting a small fire and sleeping on your back using a rock as a pillow? How's that going to help your trouble with the curve? "After walking about the Earth like Jesus or Kwai Chang Caine, bat's no longer afraid." Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  5. Let's not act like the Sawx wouldn't be the Evil Empire if the Evil Empire didn't already exist. If the Yankees are Mother Russia, the Red Sox, Dodgers, and Mets are Belarus, Turkmenistan, and Moldova. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  6. Well now it's back underneath Traveling to India in the summer... Oh. Well I can deal with that. Back up the list it goes. I've been to Bradford on a hot day, anyway. That's not too much different from India... Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  7. I do not recognize said board fan lol Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  8. 1) F the Yankees 2) I know having the farm in Wilkes-Barre helps but it disturbs me how many Yankees fans there are in Pennsylvania. I can understand the number of Cubs and Braves fans that various superstations brought, but holy Christ, Yankees fans are the absolute worst. 3) The absolute worst 4) Grandson? Did you duplicate at seven? Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  9. Back closer to home in Philipsburg, it is 75°F and no clouds nor train cars in the sky.
  10. Looking at the Phillies last two weeks, since that idiot said whomever would come there was going to lose, the Braves and Mets gained about three games in standings. The Braves have four games with the Marlins this weekend, who are basically a little league travel ball squad at this point and the Mets have the Angels, who basically an American Legion team, while the Phillies have to play the resurgent Mariners. Out west. The Phillies' lead in the NL East come Monday could very easily be less than one series' worth of games.
  11. Sir, I stopped wearing underwear when they were called Pampers. I shit down my entire leg. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  12. Rookie mistake: Damn near rolled my lawn mower a little bit ago. Went too far on a slope and had to pull some Evil Kineviel shit to stay upright. I believe that earns a fresh stripe of green on my New Balances. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
  13. I think the NL is up for grabs this season. The Dodgers just upgraded like crazy but I don't think they have the DNA needed to carry it through as evidenced by close to a decade of bottling it, Mickey Mouse season notwithstanding. The Mets are all-in on a shock rebuilding year, the Phillies have been the top of the chain all season but their flaws may be exposed, the NL Central is, well, the NL Central, and the Braves have been rolling out an AAAA lineup since May and the MLB caliber players they have, Ozuna aside, are playing like minor leaguers. I think anybody within striking distance of the playoffs could win the pennant this year. But a few moves that transpired yesterday bring some pause to my thoughts on that... There's an honest to god legitimate threat from the unlikeliest of places: Pittsburgh. They have a very, very good starting rotation. Their bullpen is more than passable and in picking up Bryan de la Cruz and IKF yesterday, they now have the bats needed to do some damage. If they take the leash off of Skenes and he stays healthy, that division series at a best-of-five is going to hit different when it rolls into the blackout that will be PNC. 14. Phillies feasted on a laughably weak schedule and avoided injury for the better part of the season meanwhile down south their division counterparts have basically experienced a weekly plane crash while playing a much more difficult schedule. And now they're dealing with injuries at the same time as an uptick in difficulty. Meanwhile the Mets have been the NL's best team since sometime in June. The Phillies will quite probably be able to coast to a division crown, but they're going to need to be more convincing than 2-4 against the Braves in season to have anyone threatened. Especially the Dodgers. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

  18. I'll take it. Being a transplant to this area from ridge and valley Appalachia, I am tired of hearing the people who never climbed down the front crying about an 85 degree day. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk

  20. A rainy start here today. I did notice the forecasted high last night was 90. It is now 87. I'm sure the lighters an hour up the road are thrilled. Sent from my motorola edge 5G UW (2021) using Tapatalk
