    They plowed 2 different times we had 0.5” snows this season. But they seemed to have forgotten to put salt down They put some sand down which they haven’t in years. It sucks.

    Send some salt up this way. We just walked the dog around our neighborhood. Glare ice most of the way. My town DPW sucks.

    Almost no wind at OSV, which was nice. We were prepared for it (as far as clothing) but it wasn’t bad

    Yep. Just got back from Sturbridge. We got around 0.25” but the wind whipped it around.

    Of course…biguns are preferable, and I see your point of view. But anything that can add to the “pack” and to my little ski area helps.

    Full snowcover here other than where the dog walked etc. only 2-4” but now it is ceramic. We barely hit 40F yesterday and now it’s locked up.

    There was one steady freight train one around 3:30AM. Lasted a couple of minutes. Pretty intense.

    We’re doing the Christmas by Candlelight thing at Old Sturbridge Village tomorrow. That will be fun with 50mph winds and temps in the low 20s dropping into the teens.

    Earlier today we had a big chunk of ice let loose in one of our downspouts. Those always are fun to hear.

    Yup. Just started a few minutes ago in N Central Mass. Also, my driveway is an ice rink, despite it being close to 40F. The ground is pretty cold.

    Our daughter had her first day as a lift operator today. Wawa just opened their new summit lift. One good thing about that one is that they build a shed building where they store the chairs overnight. That’s a first for them. Should help a bit on icy days.
