    My wife has a pretty compromised immune system so any illness (flu, stomach bug, etc) is always risky. She takes real good care of herself but the genes are what they are. We have to be cautious of things like this. China has done a good job of containment all things considered. They also have a huge population of smokers and that could affect numbers. be prepared. Don’t overreact. This is so much more fun to discuss than weather

    Do energy mets on twitter tend to show biases one way or the other? I could understand why... or those who get $ from certain businesses

    59F at 1100’ in Westminster 55F at the house. Torchalicious 2 years ago (a little more) I saw 80F on the MA spike in Boston.

    21.5”ish since Dec 17. Not the worst. But pretty bad.

    While true, we can’t really cherry pick It’s like asking Mrs Lincoln “Other than the unfortunate event, how was the play?” Lop off the first part of Dec and it is definitely a warm, low snow winter. One of the worst. Such a good start here though. Ah well. On to next week. Prob more of the same.

    Local XC area near me (Windblown in New Ipswich NH) closing after this season. Very nice place with great owners. He has been running it for 50 years and wants to retire, his kids don’t want to run it.

    For here at least 2011-2012 and 2015-16 were worse. Both in total snow and events. The October storm gives 2011 a special place though.

    I mean it is not buried in a ton of snow but that side of the house is shaded in the afternoon. I will def be using it once the time change comes
