If they only had 1 available I would have gladly waited until my turn. My wife is a type 1 diabetic and has some other autoimmune stuff. She has been full in person with almost all of her students since the fall. I am feeling relief for her
And to think that 5 minutes after I posted this we got a call from my wife’s friend who is volunteering at a local clinic. They once again had some leftovers and said if we can get there in 10 minutes we could both be vaccinated.
I drove so fast. We both got Pfizer 1.
My wife’s first dose got cancelled because the place that was going to administer them wasn’t given as many doses as they were promised. Now she is out to April 5. I will be trying CVS at 5AM
Wife and I took the day off work to ski our local bump in the morning. We had some cord for a while and transitioned to that nice toothpaste stuff.
Something we both noticed around noontime was if we skied under the shadow of a single tree the snow had a different feel than in the full sun. Neat stuff. It was also nice to sit outside and eat lunch (and a beer before noon)
If we go largely snowless for March, then to go 2 prime winter months, Jan and March with almost nothing here, but still finish right around average would be interesting
From the TripAdvisor pics I think we at at Go Fish our last trip (or at least something in that space) and I thought it was pretty meh. I could be totally wrong
My wife just got one scheduled for next Saturday. Phew. She has some health concerns (she will still kick my ass at the gym). So that’s a relief. My MIL has received both doses.
My wife and I missed an opportunity to get it by 10 minutes yesterday. We went to walk our dog and we get very poor cell reception in our neighborhood.
When we got back we saw we missed a call from a friend of ours who is volunteering at a clinic being held in the next town over. When they are about to close shop for the day they occasionally have a few doses left and they have been told to contact people that could use them. By the time we saw the call and called back we had missed it.
Stupid dog...lol
