  1. I don't think I have ever not rooted for snow... yet here we are
  2. Meh... after all the appointments have been done they typically have extra doses lefts... icing on the cake
  3. The wiping down of things is super fun in a middle school science classroom setting. Although prob not a bad practice in general. Nasty germ factories. Maybe I keep having them wear masks even after this is done.
  4. Euro, GFS, NAM all have at least some snow... might be a moderate event for some. I'd rather rain for this one
  5. I would appreciate it if you would...maybe you can eeyore it into a minor event so I can be in school
  6. Weekends are better than weekdays for me, but I don't listen much anymore
  7. Nah... I have a lab scheduled for some of the kids that day. Really hard to reschedule with the current model I am in
  8. I really don’t want a snow /remote day Friday. Ugh
  9. My hands felt like two balloons...
  10. What was that white stuff falling from the sky yesterday and the -10F wind chills this morning? Warm and moist!
  11. I think it depends on the location. The town next to ours has been hosting a clinic tied to the local hospital. Their volunteers call people at the end of each day after the appointments have been done.
  12. Yeah. The CVS site was tricky. I just kept putting in random towns all over the state and finally found one in Taunton (this was a little over a week ago and I would up canceling)
  13. 4.6 million doses given Saturday. Huge uptick. Things are cranking and this will help
  14. Wachusett was super icy late afternoon early evening. Not enjoyable really. So we bailed after 6 runs
  15. He’s backpedaling. Always a good sign
  16. Was there a second fatality? There was a 70 year old woman who died on Tuesday as well as a 12 year old who was hurt badly
  17. Fading snowpack, mud, and potholes. What a great time of year At least I can still ski for a bit
  18. The Israel study of the Pfizer vax is extremely encouraging. 97% effective against symptomatic / severe /hospitalization/ death and 94% effective against asymptotic transmission including the B.117 (or whatever) variant. They are kicking its ass there
  19. If you can get it through CVS you can choose between available appointments by manufacturer. It is clunky but I was able to choose from the three. I had chosen the first available (Pfizer and I would have had to drive 1.25 hours) but there were appts for the others on later dates. I ultimately cancelled the appt since I got one sooner and locally.
