    It piles up higher due to the atmospheric pressure being lower. Much higher. Here at 1k a 2” snowfall routinely drifts to 10-12 feet

    Regarding Ray’s map (which I appreciate), there is a place with 6-12 up against 18-30. Wasn’t sure if you noticed.

    Any idea why some storms that have wind pulverize the flakes and others don't? I know you mentioned those examples before, but we do grab sand from time to time
