  1. Just wait until you have to drive them everywhere. Enjoy the golden time
  2. 23.2F here for the low Thin ice on the pool this morning
  3. Fisher has a nice writeup on the setup in his book. He has a whole section devoted to the 1998 Maine/Canada ice storm and the 2008 event
  4. How are your views to the north at night? Maybe you can catch the aurora borealis
  5. It was snowing in Leicester MA for a bit this afternoon despite temps in the mid to upper 40s
  6. Housing is a giant problem with the Colorado resorts as well. I am guessing at all resorts nationwide, but I was reading about Crested Butte and some others in Colorado facing this,
  7. Burleson was a darned good shortstop. George Scott was Boomer, Butch Hobson was always injured...lol.
  8. I know a guy who lives part time in Celebration FL. Last night he ran out of candy before the end of Trick or Treating... in 3.5 hours he gave out 2000 full sized bars. Nuts
  9. Yeah. I think he made it in 1978. I also recall as a kid having either the yearbook or a program that had a feature about him
  10. I guess I should have worded it differently. He wasn’t born with the raw talent that some are and really worked to develop into a first rate player and later broadcaster (his early years were interesting). He and Rooster were a great double play combo
  11. Local kid made good. He was from Somerset. Not the most skilled player or speaker but he went way above expectations in both
  12. Was out leaf blowing to get ready for the little crotch goblins to take my candy and the lawn was very squishy. Then we had a light shower come through. Today wasn’t great
  13. I’m thinking the wet aspect dries up in time for winter. 1980s style incoming. (not really…just sarcastic)
  14. Household has waste collection is pretty expensive for most cities. At my old job we would sometimes get hired to run those. I hated the once per year ones. Some communities (rare) are able to fund year round ones but it is pricey. It’s all hazmat and is done much differently than regular municipal waste. But check with your local board of health. They might have some options available to you.
  15. Mowing before eating turkey and stuffing?
  16. The beat goes on. At least I won’t be spending as much on heating
  17. I had a 22”er. Of course that was in October.
  18. Foxboro in ‘87 had close to a foot iirc
