  3. The warmth and sun are bringing large numbers of Asian lady beetles to the front of my house. We had thousands of them when we first bought our house in the late 1990s. They haven’t been as bad since but they are showing up today I hate them
  4. What a day to be in New England 33F to start. Mid 60s incoming. perfect
  5. We’ve also had some great clear sunny weather on weekends when more people are out and about. That might skew perceptions a tiny bit but yeah. What Tip said I agree 100% It was supposed to suck and we got an amazing season
  6. Our oaks are further along than normal. Still plenty of leaves in the trees but all brown and a decent percentage down. stick season will be early here (a week or two ahead by my guess)
  7. First time? I had a round of it in late May. Basically a nasty sore throat. Sort of shocked I haven’t had it other than that considering the clients I work with.
  8. Supposed to have good acoustics from what I hear. My daughter is going to her first big arena show tonight at the TD Garden. She went with us to Mohegan a couple of weeks back but this is 3x as big.
  9. If you have a chance check out Mountainside Cafe on Mountain Road. Good stuff and great location
  10. 29.3F for the morning low. Coldest of the season... die bugs die
  11. Pipes are def the biggest concern. It is a good setup but you can get by with cheaper
  12. Can’t make this one sadly. They are always fun.
  13. As Jerry mentioned, there have been rumors of possible blackouts this winter due to natural gas supplies being threatened (thanks Vlad). I’m more worried about that than a weather related outage
  14. It was always a joke meant to rile up peeps
  15. Pouring at my house as per the young'un
  16. $6000-$10000 covers a bunch of hotel stays... but I understand We have been lucky where I live and only have had a couple of brief power outages since the 2008 Ice Storm
  17. New England has been nailing it with good weather on the weekends. The crowd at Wachusett for Applefest yesterday was nuts. 1.5 hours to park. 1.5 hours to ride the chairlift to the summit. Lots of beer
  18. Yeah. We had to have a contract. X amount of gallons Auto delivery etc. the company we use has been great since we have lived here (although the original was bought out). At some point I really want to go solar, heat pump etc and have the oil barons go pound sand
  19. Yes. We have done prepay with downside for years. $4.39 (or &4.29? I forget) for this year. Not fun but better than some
