    They called her a Lab/boxer mix. I’m thinking less than 5% of either. Probably some pit bull and other assorted terrier. She is really sweet and mellow though. Very lovable. Came from Tennessee. Supposedly the runt of her litter and the last one adopted. Wakes up too damn early though

    I find it interesting that there can be such a severe cutoff. One place gets an inch and just a short distance away it is bone dry. It happens a lot, but so different than during other seasons

    We got a new pup a couple of weeks ago. We were warned she was afraid of fireworks, but not thunder. We haven’t had much thunder but so far neither has bothered her.

    No need for it in early June. in late June-August I will enjoy hot temps. Would prefer lower humidity but hey…

    0.60” here. Our new dog woke me at 5:30 to go out. Caught in some of it. She wasn’t pleased. I didn’t hear any thunder

    Temp had been bouncing around 81-82 for a while. But it has climbed to 84.5 in the last 30 minutes. Dews are tremendous.

    July 4th was much busier here.

    Wife and I went kayaking on our local lake. Saw 2 (maybe 3?) loons, a great blue heron (hadn’t see one there before) and the bald eagle. Other than a couple of distance swimmers and a few kayaks, it was pretty empty. Much different than July 4th when it was super busy.
