    Regarding Kevin’s flies…were they typical houseflies? Back before we bought our house we lived in an apartment in an old house in Gardner for a few years. Each summer there was a hatch of something called cluster flies in the upstairs (unoccupied) level of that apartment. Hundreds of them. But they were different than houseflies.

    Managed another 92 here (92.3) so a heat wave. Second of the season. Rare I get those here.

    Back to our ongoing “Hawk talk”, this guy has been hanging out on the edge of our pool and on our basketball hoop. Young red tail? He/she is loud.
