  1. Yeah. I saw that 97. Sweet for the middle of the harbor. Winds make all the difference. It was upper 60s there yesterday
  2. 95 on my porch thermometer. Shaded but not a great unit. my car thermo was reading 100-102 as I was going past KFIT so 95-97 seems likely there.
  3. I still prefer cool and comfortable during this time of year, but this heat is interesting. It's really nasty in my classroom right now, and I'm on a more shaded side. Across the hall it is terrible
  4. It has happened before. Highest temp in May (maybe even April for someone on here one year?)
  5. I was thinking that might be the case for me
  6. 85 at home, 85 at work before 10AM Let's add 10!!!
  7. I didn’t realize until recently how much of an effect Merino sheep had on our landscape. Most of those walls I guess were from sheep fever in the 1800s. I had always thought they were from “normal” farms
  8. 89F here in the forest. 95 tomorrow?
  9. New England forests (and wildlife) have made a remarkable comeback in the last 100 years. Mass is now something like 65% forested. I think it was down to 25% at one time
  10. Running the bedroom ACs for the first time this season. Downstairs isn’t bad
  11. 85F for the high here. Sip o Summer
  12. Top 10er of a day today. Warm. Low humidity. it looks like we picked up a stray shower overnight as well. Won’t complain about that. over 3.5” for the month.
  13. Made it to 53 this morning. Quick take off though. Not looking forward to my job Tuesday and Wednesday
  14. Managed 77F here. A little bit of an over performer
  15. 90 seems possible there (and here)
  16. AN weekend (amazing today) through Monday. Then a 2 day torch. normal for a bit after.
  17. Mid 90s for some Tuesday... similar Wednesday?
  18. That a top 12 bummer for you
  19. Back when my wife was working in Royalston, during the early days of Covid, they had her school do a little teacher parade thing where we drove all through her district (it was so weird). I really got how sparsely populated some of those towns are (Warwick MA is so small!)
  20. Weekend looks great. Heat building early next week - 80s-90 Tuesday and Wednesday looks possible
  21. Nada at my house yesterday. It was close though
  22. Went up to the summit of Pack Monadnock on a whim this afternoon. Some nice views. Could see the Boston skyline, Monadnock, and in the second picture, if you zoom in, the Presidentials (I think) and Mt Washington
  23. he’s here. He’s there. He’s everywhere!
  24. Welp…we had one season we could dream… back to garbage
