  1. About .07" today after .17" yesterday. The 1/4" of rain over the past 24 hours came in various showers, very light rain and drizzle so pavement under trees is still dry. Another batch to my east looks to make a run at me later this evening Bit over 3/4" in last 6 weeks
  2. Missed morning rain. Will mid day stuff fire too for to the SE? Looks like it might. .55" since May 15th looks like it may stand.
  3. Still only .55" since May 15th. Hoping for rain on Wednesday. Nice thunderstorms in N Vermont casting a shadow over NH cool look vis image this evening. Went up to my view site up the road overlooking Newfound Lake and can see the tops of the anvils in Central NY as the sunsets. Always neat to see how far you can see with CuB tops.
  4. Lawn question..... if your lawn turns completely brown from drought will it come back? I don't mean kinda burnt out but totally brown. I am loosing the battle even with watering and the well can't produce enough water so parts are now completely dead. I guess the answer is yes because that is what it does in the winter. We always get periods of dryness and had that drought several years ago but this year the drought has started earlier. Thoughts?
  5. Saturday June 13th 3pm 56.4F and Partly Sunny. Impressive cold day with so much sun and a week away from Solstice
  6. Berlin NH 95F 2pm Wed 5/27. Quickly looked and couldn't find a higher temp in the US
  7. 80/44 Perfect. Forest canopy has greened up very rapidly the past 2 days. Probably at 75%. I really like it when the leaves first come out and have that light green color.
  8. 70/56F Feels so humid. We talk about this each year so no surprise. Nice to see everything quickly turn green.
  9. More snow last night in NNE. Avoided it here 41.6F sunny and windy. Another Mid May day. I see the end of the tunnel however
  10. 34.7F Sun, snow, sun. Icicles still on the north side of the house. High was 37F but when a squall goes through it briefly drops below freezing.
  11. It's intense you can see on passing by me on the webcam
  12. Did you ever make it to the notch? You were thinking of going today. It's 2pm. Top of Cannon is 17F with snow. Winds whipping through the notch into the 50's and 60's
  13. We just had a nice squall. Wind gusted to 35mph. Quick drop of vis to 1/4" and temp drop fro 36.3F to 32F then full sun. 32.0F at 130pm which is about the higest the sun gets in the sky is super impressive for May 9th. Also noted Mount Washington is 9F with 75mph and snow at this hour. Wow
  14. Nice snow squalls moving past me this PM. Fun to watch the Nest camera.https://video.nest.com/live/2yLZqc60Vg Just made it to 35F
  15. Video from my neighbor up at 1600 feet. A mid winter dry snow with blowing and drifting. Trying to share this facebook video so link might not work https://www.facebook.com/christine.segalas/videos/pcb.10221978663513683/10221978663313678/?type=3&__tn__=HH-R&eid=ARAUyImOTTbAciZn5JLnGlXHXsF9WaKXwta6xDyS6vCSNW_bemVaoYCBhYQW43U0z6WqgPQyGrk8TAGF&__xts__[0]=68.ARAvVbacpTyD6RhPUHyD2DpyoUe9HLclr3Dx7oqn8mTw5qaj95SPQuzn4YtzrvpPg17ksfZcpQUFVdzMJUXjWZSydM8OTClxb797wppWthP34pQuwLwYAlZfVxssWc5wK7MpH13SuxqzPRAwxBxGQJxWDi3H1Ms8bMFDn58pbtzw7kpHnSutplSYVjTInPoZdTw95s895vVPuKzEyNmBn-MtvEiCe961Z8O8uyyOlIepBvahny1q4IGiz3zRFbNZyPRtitY1J4q_Q-ZixmVWtidUWKYbFYhws-HzqKIdGEyfYw-qi8Ec2Fbyseu7lQ
  16. Alex, maybe you over did it moving north from Boston to find a snow lovers spot. I'll give you a couple of years and you will be talking about moving to Florida I have frickin icicles forming too. May sun is melting snow on the roof but air has been below freezing. Warming up now 33F
  17. I think the mid day cold is even more impressive than the snow. The flowering trees and trees in leave are taking a hit with temps below freezing and strong winds. Luckily we had a cold April so things are not that far along
  18. 11:15am. Snow flurries, blowing snow with winds gusting to 30mph. 32F is extremely impressive for May 9th for near mid day. There was almost no snow down at Newfound Lake level (586 feet) but almost 3" at my elevation at 1100 feet. At this elevation we are having mid winter blowing snow right now. Then below us is a band where the snow was very wet and clung to the trees. Beautiful earlier before the wind. Go further down in elevation the trees are in bud with small leaves and the grass is dark green. Really interesting to live in an area with elevation differences. Far cry from my days living in Metro Boston. Picture from earlier this AM before wind
  19. No snow in downtown Bristol which is just 10 miles north of you. Elevation made all the difference. I bet even on your road there is much more snow at the top of your road than along the river
  20. 30.0F (temp continues to fall) light snow blowing snow 2.75" We were cold enough that legit blowing snow right now. Wind really cranking. Just made this short timelapse of the blowing snow. https://video.nest.com/clip/3d7bb204adfc4f8188a8f97fd187e422.mp4
  21. Beautiful May 5th morning. 37F gusty wind and mostly cloudy. Reminds me of the first real fall cold fronts with quick blowing Cu coming down from the NW. I see Alex and Franconia Notch got some snow earlier. Late week looks interesting. Snow for some? Forest canopy still bare here but ready to open. Going to be a late leafout in this pattern. Such is life in NNE Picture from the top of Cannon Mt this AM
  22. I'm sorry. He probably promised more snow. Now you get the nice weather. As the country is 95F with a 70F dew you will be comfortable in the 70's.
  23. Noon April 30th 39.3F Light rain NICE
