How did you NH guys miss this last night???
Ginx, I looked a couple of times but didn't see anything. Quite a few clouds to my north over the Whites. Looks like the main action was pretty close to the northern horizon in my neck of the woods. I have noticed that a time exposure, even a short one will make the lights look better than what the naked eye sees.

It 745pm. Just went to a hilltop to look north. Nothing that I could see. About half the sky was cloudy above and to about 45 degrees to the north and I could see stars but no AB.

I'm at about 70% cloud cover up here. Back edge is in NY state. Hopefully with sundown now they will break up quickly.
Space weather is showing KP 7 as of 6pm

The meltdowns would be epic. I wouldn't cheer that on, but I would find a way to take sick pleasure out of that.
That snowfall map just posted has me at 2-4" in Central NH, actually 2-4" down to almost Concord NH

Hard number here Brian?
My plow friends have been calling. I was really ready to downgrade here in the Lakes Region of NH to a 8-12" type storm. Now the Euro is insistent in these heavy amounts up here too. I would guess the Euro will cave unless we start seeing a west trend at 18Z

boy 12z nam gives very little to Greens and Whites. Here in Central NH gives only 6" how can we confirm it initiated correctly? It stipped at 27 hours on NCEP site

Hey guys, maybe you can answer a question for me about tornadoes. You probably have seen/heard the Utube video/audio with the group of people huddled in a store as the tornado passes overhead. The tornado hits, the glass blows out and then there is a definate lull. One of the guys says over and over We are good, meaning the storm has passed. Then it hits again even with more fury. Do you think that there was an area of relative calm in the middle? Almost like an eye of a hurricane? It could also just be a multi vorticity tornado with multi centers hitting the store.
The audio is probably the best audio segment that has ever been recorded as a tornado passed overhead, just chilling!
