  1. Enjoyed last nights thunderstorms. We had a couple move through during the evening. The best one was late evening. Temp at 33F with heavy rain turning to heavy sleet. Enough to whiten the ground. At first I thought it was hail and maybe under certain unique weather conditions both could fall if there was enough convection above the cold lower layer. That's a question for the Mets... Looking forward to some snow this afternoon and then we are under the wheel of misfortune for awhile
  2. 32.7f thunderstorm heavy sleet whitening up ground.
  3. 33F Just had a convective heavy shower of rain and hail or rain and big sleet pellets. One lightning bolt. That line entering VT looks interesting. Wonder what it will be when it gets here
  4. Just switched over to snow grains up here. Temp down to 33.4F Edit Light snow vis 1 mile 33.3F
  5. 33.9F Light rain mixing with IP but main echoes are now moving east.
  6. 34.3/33 Light rain (no cat paws yet). Temp has fallen from 38 this morning. Noted on the Waterville Valley and Loon cams it is mixed or snowing there.
  7. 38F light rain but must be very thick clouds. It's a very dark day here for March 29
  8. 38/36 light rain up here this morning. Wondering if I'll change to some ice or snow later in this system? No big deal but maybe I can add an inch or so to my seasonally total.
  9. 38F light rain on this Sunday morning... It's pretty unclear to me what will happen in my hood. Change to light ice or snow overnight? Not looking for much but some white or icing might keep my mind occupied. 24/7 COVID info is not good mentally...
  10. 29.5F Moderate snow. Vis about 1/2 mile. About 1/2"
  11. 30.5/21 Light snow. Vis est 3 miles
  12. Goal posts are closing for me up here. GFS seems to be playing catchup with Euro. Seems like a 4-8" snowfall but maybe a bit higher with better ratio's up here. Should get me into 70's for seasonal snowfall
  13. It's extra ugh because or dirt roads are in the middle of mud season so the town can't plow. Good thing is anything that falls in late March starts the melting process pretty quickly
  14. Cold front just came through. Temperature spiking to near 60F. Winds howling. Stayed in the 40's most of the day.
  15. 39.9F 120pm. CAD winning again
  16. 1.25" of snow up here this morning. 33.9F very light rain mixed with catpaws at noon I've been so involved with virus news I have barely been following the extended weather. Nice to see the Euro. Just took a quick looks at the 12Z GFS. Has the system too, still quite far south but it seems a bit further north than the 6Z run
  17. Thursday mornings snowfall is about over as I'm up to 32.8F Snow total 1.25" Season total 66.25"
  18. 31.9F Light snow. Eyeballing 3/4 to 1"
  19. Nice visible satellite image this Wed AM. You can clearly see where the snow line is. The Northern part of Lake Winn. is white while the Southern part is not. About 15-20% snowcover remains in my hood. Bluebirds have arrived and are seeking out our birdhouses.
  20. 28.8F at mid day. 1" new 65.25" on the season
