  1. 1-2”/hr rates on the new HRRR as it comes though here.
  2. Toss all NCEP guidance. Looking like a DAB+ up this way. NAM will continue baby stepping through 12z run tomorrow.
  3. Trend is pretty clear so far with faster nrn stream/central plains wave leading to less favorable tilt of the mean trof. Euro is a snoozer up here. 2" and change. NCEP guidance only ones in the wetter camp so toss. Ukie/GEM/Euro all stepped worse. 15z RAP also with that guidance as well.
  4. Yeah, the Ukie has been pretty hitting that potential.
  5. 12z Euro with swath of 5-7" from BRL to ORD/PWK Tuesday night into Wednesday.
  6. Euro with a more strung out look but still decent for some. 4-6" swath with initial slug of precip on Tuesday across IA/IL (Chi metro included) Secondary defo area tries to get going with main system later Wednesday and leads to highest totals in SW MI of 8-12"
  7. Joe said he was kidding but at least you stick to it.
  8. You both already called rainer so you're locked into those. Already back pedaling
  9. Enough agreement for something in the time frame as others have mentioned. GEFS don't look bad at this range and some areas can still do well even with a more strung out look with good WAA into and over a tight baroclinic zone. Last night's 0z GFS was probably close to best case for someone.
  10. ORD and MDW both sitting at 1/8SM right now with FG
  11. You might have to back track when you see how much snow the best in the biz is forecasting for you. So much for the pros being in your camp
  12. Further west you are the better probably unless you’re up on Mt Geos for enhancement. NAM and Nest came back in a little colder not as far NW initially and had solid amounts before the flip to rain. Think the flip will probably happen across metro for a time but after that up once the air and where brunt off Friday night accums happen.
  13. Alek’s Stevie Wonder model looking is making the rounds off the forum now. Guy going off the deep end
  14. A fast moving clipper like wave comes in Saturday evening and drops another 1-2" across northern Illinois so verbatim the Euro has 8-12" for north central and northeast Illinois counting that feature.
  15. Lake county gets the 10-11" bullseye this run. Nike lake enhancement signal. Verbatim it snows here from 6z Thursday till 12z Saturday
  16. Euro looks like a really good hit here verbatim but sfc temps still iffy. Even Friday night under the best rates much of the area here is at 33
  17. Yeah Euro has 4-7” here drawn out for close to 48hrs hashtag dud
  18. GEFS mean continuing with the 6” lolli lakeside for Alek
