That "relaxation" that was the hot topic the past couple of weeks sure was brief.

Seeing it only affects 3 or 4 people speaks volumes.
Didn't we hear about this sliding east out of SNE, affecting only pike south?

Be careful there. If it goes the other way, you might want to take some time away from the board.
Scooter has some of the more epic melts in history - 0% chance he will sit there smiling about it

Looks like the same total here as well as it looks like we are making the transition now.

There are a couple neighborhoods just west of Rt. 3 in Nashua up near 400'. Maybe it was one of those? Also, could relic snow be a factor? Snow all but gone here in Lowell, but still appearing in piles along driveways.
Nah, it's Nashua - definitely crack

Just a slushy coating on Munjoy Hill but just a mile or so inland is where the accumulations really started. I measured 3" in the parking lot in North Windham with snow continuing

Just flipped to wet aggregates in North Deering. That's a little earlier than forecast (I thought a brief flip in PWM was possible later tonight).
HRRR noticeably colder now.
Snowing on Munjoy Hill too. Big surprise!

Its going to be really close here and could go either way, I can see the northern part of this county that has a little more elevation from Turner North and West seeing a foot while i may get glop.
My place in the country is in the same position. Just a couple towns north will get pounded, my 'ville prob mostly wet. But I'll be there tmw evening to see what happened.

It'll be fun to see where the r/s line is on my way in to work (Portland to North Windham) tmw morning.

Yes, Gene and Alex as well as the IZG-RUM corridor here, Elevations are going to get smoked, There is no doub't about that, Its how the lower elevations shake out with that SLP track along or off the coast.
The 3 posters up here watch intently

Is that where you had been? When had you moved to PWM?
Yeah, I've been here for a number of years but now I only use it when I have my kids. Move to Portland was about 4 years ago

Where are your digs in the sticks?
North Waterboro ... due west of Portland about 20 miles or so

I haven't been to my home in the country since last Thursday, so I have two storms worth of snow to clear. 10.5" on my driveway, 6 or 7 of which is from today. A bit more than I was expecting, and looks like early Jan aside from lack of man snowbanks
-
I can't believe schools are closed for a 4 or 5 inch snowfall. It's getting to where they call it if it's snowing when the buses are out
