then why do news places including Gutner at wcsh show 18-24" amounts. Does he really believe what he is forecasting or is he looking for ratings like TWC.
You'd have to ask him why he is forecasting that much. It's not a surprise models are ratcheting down the qpf if you pay attention to the knowledgeable folks here. 12" is great, let's enjoy it!

Can we start pulling down those 18-24" total now? what a hype storm. 9" modeled is a joke from where we were
You shouldn't have bought those amounts. I think 10-15 is a virtual lock though

I agree on the discrepancy issue. GYX over predicts snow for southern NH especially in the area along the Merrimack Valley area in NE Mass.
Just to be clear, I love GYX

Man the 6z NAM and RGEM couldn't be more different lol.
Model battle is fascinating. The RGEM ticked north again from 00z.
Ain't nobody gonna talk about the RGEM in SNE!

Wasn't the old NAM rule, cut qpf by 1/3?
If it's outlandish, sure. But these numbers seem reasonable

This is where Eric should consider returning to his days of creating epic gifs
Ha! If only I had that sort of expendable time
I won't deny it, I'm getting pretty invested in this. Seems likely our area should receive a good amount of wintry weather

Maybe the Chargers should just call it quits at halftime and head back to sunny, warm LA. The Pats are 58-0 in regular and post season games in Foxboro with a 21 point or more lead.
Maybe take the sports talk to the appropriate topic

Like Gene, I can see the currus canopy on the southern horizon. Crystal clear otherwise
