In calling in the totals and speaking briefly with the met that was on the desk at GYX, They were leaning more frozen when i was talking with him, Its a tough call, And i think it will come down to nowcasting an seeing where the actual low is tracking, Even 20 miles or so further south could mean a lot, I know its the Nam, But the 06z and 12z run had around 6" here, We will look and see where the 18z runs go.

I think GYX call is like double what will end up for accumulations in our 'hoods.  Or triple even.

Oh and there is quite a bit of qpf down there, Its pretty marginal here on temps so it would come down to dynamics, Also, The Euro is the furthest NNW with getting the precip in here besides the GGEM and RGEM, They both get it back even thru the mtns but are very warm and it would be rain.

Yeah, pretty much expecting a little light rain with maybe some non-accumulating flakes in heavier bursts.  Mon/Tue looks far more interesting

The other issue is there is a s/w in the northern stream that giving this a "kick east as it gains lat so some of these solutions we whiff on. DE areas are seeing more in the way of snow as the colder air gets in for them sooner

One thing is certain - the rain this will produce in SNE will only further amplify the melts.

I took the highway and was kicking myself thinking I should have gone 302, but sounds like it was just as bad

Yep, pretty much.  I didn't see any trucks sanding or plowing, dunno what the problem was there.  Bad job by the people who make decisions

22" November, 5.5" in Dec, Not exactly doing keg stands up here.

    Not the southern half.

Yup.  Looked to me last weekend that you had to get to Bridgton before you hit the really consistent snowpack

They never even did a 2 hr delay up here, This superintendent doesn't utilize his resources very well, They just implemented the 2 hr delay 2 yrs ago and i think its been used twice, My wife has the bus app because of daycare and said it was taking the buses 1hr+ to get to the schools when its normally 20 mins max.

Yeah, on my way in to work in North Windham the line behind the school bus on 302 headed towards Portland stretched for about a mile ... lol!  Maybe that's why Lava took so long ... residual backup.
