With the way recent years have gone, I'd think any snow would be exciting

So... this is definitely a bust, right? I'm not seeing any accumulations in the forecast at all. We got more snow the other day (one inch or so. It's all blown away by now). Lame. Reminds me of how it was back where I formerly lived. All of the storms go either North or South. Literally... You can see that back in OK just over the past two storms. One storm went just above NE OK, this one's going just below NE OK. It's depressing. It's one thing for that to happen with a couple of storms, it's another thing for it to be a trend over years and years which it has been down there, and apparently the trend here hasn't been great either.
There was never a likelihood of a storm. No bust.

You think 3-5 is attainable here? That would hopefully lock in through Christmas

GYX in with the high wind watches. Euro rips across most of ME, NAM and others more moderate. Morning news seems to be insisting this is a coast only thing with no wind maps yet. Many don't seem to buy it yet. CMP doesn't even have the "we're ready!" messaging on their website yet.
Maybe they're not ready?

Love you @MaineJayhawk
Haha! It was a pleasant last three weeks of August - the warmer days were offset by nights in the 50s and dewpoints were kept in check. Open the windows and let the natural a/c in. Now it is just getting too cold to have them in and nothing in the forecast would seem to warrant their use

Uninstalled.
Could have done it weeks ago as they haven’t been used since the first week of August

Awesome stuff. I decided on Island Falls (random I know lol) and we were on the road very shortly after totality. There was some congestion but I got to Portland with very few delays.
Not so random - I know a guy who went there! Craig Shaknis. tbh, I don't even know where it is .. lol!

Power was restored yesterday morning at some point. A little over 100 hours out - a new personal record!

I went to the shore of Mooselookmeguntic Lake and got cooked .. haha! It was a great time obviously with a smaller crowd than the usual places. One shot of the diamond ring and the other a wide angle which I haven't edited yet. Might add the various phases of the eclipse to it. Epic traffic on the way home - took me about 4.5 hours for a normally 2.5 hour drive
