1. A few inches. I still had 10 or 11 by sundown, but I can hear water in the gutter downspouts as I type. I'm at 40 right now, well see how much melts overnight. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
2. I missed the other way. Had a forecast high of 34 and topped out at 44. And I'd be willing to bet I'm not dropping much further than the current 39 before another inversion kicks in. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
3. My low was at midnight. I was at 13.8 then and climbed to 24 by sunrise. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
4. I finished at 15" here in Wolf Laurel (Yancey county, ½ mile from the border). Someone a few hundred feet above me and about a mile east picked up 23.5". The flow was coming from the nnw, and when it does we always clean up here. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
5. 23.5"! This has to be someone above me in my neighborhood. I'm itching to get up top and check things out now! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
6. You're right, I went back and looked and there's 5 napping in that spot. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
7. It took me a minute to realize there's four does in the picture. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
8. So I just checked around me. Heading towards the border, I measure 18" about 400' further up the mountain. Going the other way to the country club (about the same elevation as me but a mile further from the border and more exposed to the wind) I measured 12 or so. There's one helluva gradient in a very short distance...I'm really curious about what's up on the top of the mountain, but the road is nearly impassable at the moment. 9. Morning yall...so I don't know how accurate my measurement is MotoWeatherman . The wind really picked up overnight and there was a 22" deep drift on my measuring board so I measured about a dozen other spots and the depth varied from just under this to 24" deep. So call it 14" if ya want, I'm not going back outside right now. It's and moderate snow is still falling. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
10. That's me, I'm actually over 10.5" now. And my elevation is 4360 lol. It's pouring out there! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
11. 17.6° and over 8" now. I picked up over an inch in the last 33 minutes! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
12. Check out the vort upstream in SW Ohio. Later tonight is gonna be really, really good for someone on the board. https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/goes/sector_band.php?sat=G16&sector=cgl&band=09&length=24&dim=undefined Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
13. Hammering away at 19°! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
14. 21° with over 5" now and continuing to pour in Wolf. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
15. Up to 4" now and it's absoluting pouring snow in Wolf. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
16. I know the feeling. Last year I had to replace the vacuum pump and brake booster in my truck after dislocating my knee during the big storm on 1/13. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
17. Just look upstream. It's gonna be a good night! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
18. You can see how large the flakes are getting here. The direction you see the roof in is looking NNW towards my house and the state line. https://wolflaurelweather.com/Wolf+Laurel+Club+Cam/Stream Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
19. Just over 2 here also. Flakes are getting bigger! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
