  1. Month late but may as well start one. june ended up warm and overall wet in my locale. hit or miss for many on the rain. july 4th has come and gone.
  2. Gonna pull the trigger on doing the front yard this season. Edging/mulching, pulling up a few shrubs. Glad I have nothing to do with this amount of work.
  3. Determined what this was. It’s the bloom of a Scouler Willow. Interesting that it took root where it did.
  4. Michael Scott “That’s what she said!”
  5. Says he coming tomorrow AM to go over my list of things I’d like addressed. First and foremost is getting my entire lawn/gardens edged and mulched. As a side bar, my lawn is the best it’s looked in a couple years. Still a bit of weeds in it and there is a good amount of thatch that’s led to thinned out areas. These are things I’d like addressed as well with contractor. I don’t have the time to put any meaningful time in doing yard work beyond cutting the lawn.
  6. Initial thought was Sassafras, but tips of leaves look too pointed.
  7. Reached out to a contractor to help with pieces of my lawn/landscape that I want nothing to do with.
  8. Lawn mowed. Dripping in sweat after, even though temps are in the 60s. Drizzly, So that could have added to it.
  9. That sucks. We had a neighbor behind us shoot off some around 3pm, which set of our dog. He's hates fireworks.
  10. He did a charity hole that they aired after the event where he had to get a bogey or better for a 100k donation. His swing was not that brutal start/stop crap he’s been known for. He ended up with like. 10’ putt for bogey that just missed.
  11. Saw it on replay. He’s a pretty good golfer, it’s just the consistency like the pros.
  12. Turned on the charity golf match about 5-530. Enjoying it as they wrap up now.
  13. Ahhh, Chemawa. I used to play there almost weekly when I was in my teens and early 20s. Was a tight course but well manicured. We would show up at 630-7am
  14. Only a 2:15 drive one way, plus having to work put this in the no category.
  15. Damn, you wasted no time. I’m trying to recall the last time I played golf. Think it’s been over a decade now.
  16. Yeah, my entire lawn/yard is in need of professional help. Need ps dethatching, aeration, denser grass, less weeds, beds, edging, mulch. You name it, it needs it.
  17. It wasn’t lime. It was iron. Fertilizer I used. Contains Dimension https://www.jonathangreen.com/product/crabgrass-preventer-plus-green-up-lawn-fertilizer.html
  18. Cut mine for only the 2nd time here. It’s a mess though. It’s soaking wet in areas. I have a huge moss issue and I’ve dropped iron on it and it did nothing. My step 1 fertilizer did nothing for the weeds either. I hate doing yard work. Working 7 days a week gives me no time to do a damn thing myself to improve it and I’m not willing to spend thousands to redo it all from a landscaper.
  19. I’m sure. Not too many places in New England where you can drill without hitting large rocks. I’ve tried the hand hole diggers and they’re an exercise in futility.
