    Gorgeous morning down on Glenville, managed to get a few largemouth to the kayak but more than double what I caught got off. Figured out a decent post spawn pattern by the time I called it quits at noon. Getting the same shower as Met right now.

    Weather station shows a low of 43 for yesterday abc this morning so I’m guessing that was at midnight. Sitting at 46 with almost 1.7” this far. No rain up here in northern Ohio but have had some chilly mornings and evenings.

    Yep that a decent shot of rain, of course it came over the house while I was trying to dig up a fence post and work on a raised bed lol. Blueberries go in the ground tomorrow if the farm store has how many I want to buy.

    That was some of the craziest straight line winds I’ve seen in a storm when it rolled through earlier.

    Another day of strong winds, is it too much to ask for a decent day of weather this Spring on days I’m off?

    Had some snow flakes mixed in a brief little shower, if you can call it that since it only lasted a minute max, when I went out to mow around 3:30-4. Wasn’t even that cold out, just windy and I guess super cold aloft for them to make it down. First time seeing flakes fly in May for me.

    Wind has been roaring ever since I got home last night, made it down to 41. 42 now, May is confused it’s March.

    Nippy up here in Ohio too, hate I’m missing possible flakes flying at the house but I head south tomorrow.

    Steadily picking up in Haywood the past hour.

    13.6 for the low this morning, coldest since December according to my station history, January’s low was 13.8 and February’s was 17.1.

    Low of 15 for me, don’t know about any accumulation as I stayed off the mountain overnight but did have flakes flying from Waynesville to Canton last night when taking people home.

    Had a low of 23 this morning

    Well it did get crazy and shot up to 32 while I was in the gym. Still, coldest day overall since January.

    Low of 19.8 this morning and barring anything crazy the high for the day is gonna be 28.2 with flurries all day.

    Congrats central and northern mountain folks. Just woke up to some flakes flying but nothing accumulating past the trace we have.

    Working nights right now. Had flurries and light snow falling everywhere I went in Buncombe it seemed, from way over in Fairview to up Reems Creek in Weaverville, didn’t amount to anything however. Just got home to 20 degrees with some light snow falling and a trace on the deck and ground.

    Saw some flakes flying last night on my drive from Canton back to my place. Had a trace of snow on the ground up at Max Patch on a midday hike, had to be looking in the shady spots to see it though.

    Got sporty here while I was in Waynesville earlier. Had trees down from just the wind before the rain and storms moved in then they moved through and caused more damage. Sirens going off here in Canton now.

    Beautiful day working down around Cashiers. Took this at the end of my work day from the top of Sheep Cliff Mountain looking over Cashiers and south to SC.

    Yep that’s what I had, coming in waves. Left the house at 6:30 am with rain and a temp about 60, get back at 4:45 to snow in the upper 20’s. Love our crazy weather days.

    27 with a dusting on the deck, truck and anywhere with leaves. Finest of flakes falling.

    Those areas are about 50% of climo to date if not worst. Not been a good season.

    Yep timely cold shots is the saving grace for the resorts along with upgraded equipment at places like Sugar, Beech and Cat.
