  1. Atmosphere is saturating over all areas so virga will transition to snow any minute now!
  2. Before we wrap this all up. It looks like a new deformation band is attempting to form over Portsmouth, New Hampshire Seacoast, and Boston.
  3. I have a feeling coastal Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast will be next to get pummeled later this afternoon!
  4. Some models underestimated the January 2015 and 2022 storms so I'm not worried over a few mesos cutting back when the storm has clearly verified more west then they're depicting.
  5. Observations support the west camp. The center would have to be 50-100 miles east for the eastern solutions to verify.
  6. Looks like hrrr 23z is correcting deeper back to real time observations. https://x.com/BostonWxConsult/status/2025731386162737301
  7. NO observations do not support that in any fashion.
  8. I never believed the east camp since they contradicted OBS.
  9. Hopefully the next round has more umph. The last band before the lull was juicy!
  10. It's clipping real good here in Kittery!
  11. I think we'll be fine up here. It has a warn-nose bias so of course it'll be the first to detect such issues. However, it tends to be overzealous, especially when there's blocking. Take the late January storm for instance among other events.
  12. Let's see if it's own ensambled will follow suit.
  13. A -NAO this time of year from a retrograding Greenland ridge usually doesn't bode well for AN temps for New England(unlike Oct-Dec). Models will adjust.
  14. Exactly! You're not getting cutters in this pattern!
  15. So far the Atlantic has been wide open but this guy says that could likely change moving forward. No garentees but if a storm should come to fruction towards the 15th a -NAO/AO should be present unlike back in Dec 2. https://x.com/ContentWxGuy/status/1997357683729375599
