  1. Banding now spreading southeast from the berks!
  2. I would roughly estimate 16" OTG in Hartland. They are crushed. Have some incredible pictures. What a scene up here. Truly awesome.
  3. Yes come to papa. West of 91 showing signs of a developing heavy snow band! Getting a bit excited. Let's send this awful winter out with snow.
  4. Ton of tree damage in Granby. Power trucks everywhere. Trees sagging. Limbs everywhere. Looks like a war zone. I'm driving toward barkhamsted and Hartland.
  5. Can see banding rapidly intensifying over the berks now. Mid levels about to crank.
  6. I think the location of banding/Jacks has been really accurate for the most part. We are seeing far interior get crushed. I first mentioned this dry slot like four days ago. It's nearly spot on to what was forecast. Valley did better than expected. But I think BOX was just being conservative. Seemed evident that the mid level track was not great for Eastern portions of Connecticut during early stages. That verified too. Banding signal for this afternoon has there for a few days too. That's about the only thing you can still leave TBD right now. But models have stepped up the intensity of the band today. Not sure the concern. Condolidating slow 7h intensifying to out southeast. Doesn't get better than that for large portions of new england. I think a fun few Hours ahead for those NW of New London-PVD-PYM. Temps are the only concern. I think dynamics overcome marginal bl for most.
  7. You are in that area of the E/SE portion of the state that got really porked. I would guess 1-3" there. Just to be safe.
  8. It could get pretty awesome soon from RAY to ORH to Rt 2. Down to KEV and over to me, and much of CT. I'm pretty excited. Really confident. All the models show it. Come back in about an hour if you are feeling dejected in those areas.....
  9. That's why the mesos are so light on snowfall totals when it comes to the clowns. Warms 2m another degree or two. They were wrong this morning, so we'll see.
  10. I'm skeptical that we will be able to accumulate much later. I'm hopeful but undoubtedly skeptical for the CT valley. Up to 34F. This could be part of the storm where Kevin catches up to me because of elevation.
  11. Looking at visible satellite: looks convective in NW CT. Cloud tops blossoming.

  13. Reports of people entrapped in vehicles because of falling trees out in Litchfield County.
  14. Will fill in and collapse south in a big way soon.
  15. Finally, seeing some clear signs that the dry slow is sliding SE. Maybe the house in Simsbury goes back to snow around 1130/12.
  16. CT peeps should watch southwest of BOX radar and to their N/NE. That is the direction as to which banding will will rotate in from as the mid levels start to crank. Im seeing some signs of that developing now, but it may take an hour or two. It will be very important to see how warm temperatures get in the meantime. Not sure what to expect.
  17. This low porks me. I could see this not being great in the valley. The low is just sitting there. Need it to slide E/SE so banding can drop south from MA.
