I think the story for CT will end up being flooding somewhere more likely than not.

Cells pulsing along the Seabreeze boundary, starting to get their act together.

HRRR at 21z targets coastal Connecticut overnight, and area just inland. The entire state gets storms, but the strongest part of the line appears to go just inland and along the sound.

Don't I wish. But traditionally, I have done the best in SNE with elevated convection and mid level instability at night.

Looks like models have a line developing now over Maryland, then it tracks NE from NYC > SNE. Looks like 1am Fairfield county. Through to ORH/PVD 4 am > fizzling near 128 5-6 am. Elevated instability is there for solid storms across interior Sne.

An absolute monster of a cell over Litchfield, and now Torrington.

Storm near Manchester, Vernon is still relatively new. Looks really good on higher tilt too. Going to drench someone.

Nah. I looked at visible satellite, and it looks like cirrus and cloud debris will inhibit anything substantial.

Definitely also jogged south a bit along the boundary. Focused just south of Hartford now.

I wonder if there's a sneaky strong/severe threat Fairfield and Litchfield counties. Some of that nyc activity is bound to spill over.

Cell just pulsed up to it's strongest of the day. I'm watching with increased interest because of Travelers in Cromwell. Wondering if it gets delayed.

Could be a flood situation for Hartford. Seems to be setting up for that.

I was supposed to get a media pass for the tournament and it didn't work out, bummer. I got to see dead and Co at Fenway last night though, and it was awesome.

Has a bit of a ne trajectory to it. I may end up dry today. It's sliding off towards 84. Might impact Kevin later.
