12/9/05 is my ultimate weather memory, in relation to the weather channel. I hadn't started as a hobbyist yet, all I had was the weather channel. Went from light rain to powerful thundersnow in minutes. I thought I was dreaming. I just kept watching local on the 8's. Roads untreated... sliding down my street. It was insane.

The ensembles never really came on board outside of one single run. Most were too widespread or the cluster was all over the place. Never had that tell tale west of mean look outside of a hiccup run or two.

For the 3rd time.... This trof is full of sh*t it ain't Happening. Don't see how it's possible. It's like a 1 in 50 chance for a moderate snow storm. Too progressive. Too much mixed up in the flow

I just don't buy it. Plus I told the multi million dollar company I give forecasts to that a storm is unlikely this weekend. Does that get me a pro forecaster tag?

I don't like the EPS. Way too far SE. Individual members not encouraging. Tough to believe this euro yet. Sell.

It's the whole trof itself though. It doesn't remind me of any system that has brought significant snow in the past. It's very odd. Maybe that's one reason to hold on. But it's so damn progressive and the amount of players in the field complicate it so much. I'd feel better in Halifax NS.

The pattern is such a clusterf*ck. We really need two more days. But the look isn't that encouraging. Would feel better if ensembles make a trend back west.
