  1. I can see what I think are improvements at h5 height anomaly just between 6z and now
  2. we will know soon enough. if we avoid what 6z GFS spit out yesterday it will be a win.
  3. yes..yes you are. we have no functioning gauges but the radio works..clear as a bell
  4. yesterday at 6z GFS had nothing so at least we still have something. I see what psu was saying in the previous post. 6z GFS today looked more like clipper than previous 3 runs.
  5. I would argue...probably not effectively...6z looks a bit sharper and more neutrally tilted than 0z...maybe?
  6. to this weenie eye it looks more like 0z GFS at 150 than 6z GFS at 144. might not be all the dig we want but the trough looks further west like 0z. 6z GFS was further east. I could be way off of course
  7. At 144 isnt it in the process of digging? or not as the case may be? in other words how do we know what the next panels would show? h5 compared to 0z? Thanks in advance
  8. at least we know what to look for...to dig or not to dig
  9. 1-2 feet would be disruptive. oh hell I would love it but also love 3 inches. also I noticed just looking at the snowfall maps it is possible the entire state of VA would have a white Christmas if things work out. That has to be quite rare.
  10. We have our best chance at a white Christmas since 09…now that’s fun
  11. Man…that’s either a royal flush or pair of deuces
  12. Not sure. We shall see. It can be too far west and cut
  13. This 18z run is the biggest run since 12z…you dig? See again I used the idea of dig because we want the h5 to dig…masterful
  14. I'm "diggin" this. see what I did there
  15. I was toggling back forth. looks more like 0z taller ridge out west. but I dont see as strong a shortwave in NW region of US. We shall see.
  16. Roger. I appreciate the info. Didn't know the wonky 2m temp one but it makes sense having seen what it spits out.
  17. There has to be something a miss if the cluster is off shore. trough not deep enough? maybe the surface depiction hasn't caught up with h5 depiction.
