I hope it doesn’t play out like this. It’s not fun to burn through December. Not very 2009-ish. But it’s still November so panic is at a low level. Next runs can erase this.

Baked in the cake. Not worried. We never go wall to wall winter so just a couple of bad cards to play.

I’d punt 1-15 Dec and March 15th onward for that scenario. The whole winter is a tough sell however.

There will be a lot of teleconnection discussions I’m sure. Still 10-15 days into December is a tough call even for the best of the best like yourself. Not sure anyone can predict what will happen that far out.

I think he is referring to hour 372-384 on 6z GFS. Way to far out to think about. GEFS looks ok at h5...I think

I think we all get impatient to some degree. A great setup still takes time and then maybe nothing happens.

Even the break down of the NAO might be good timing. Rebuild in time for the holidays. Never going to see wall to wall blocking we all know that.
