McLean, VA 2025-26 Snowfall TOTAL: 1.9" November: T 11/12: T | Stayed up late hoping for something more substantial, but there were still some VERY hard to see flurries. 11/30: T | Morning snow/sleet mix changed to rain. December: 1.9" 12/5: 1.9" | The return of the mythical December 5th snowstorm. It brought extreme cold for early-December, with my high of 29. The best start to December that my young life can remember. January: 0.0" February: 0.0" March: 0.0"

Dad measured 1.9", probably the final total but there is still some light snow around. Great start to the winter season.

At school, looking out the window, and still big flakes with moderate-heavy snow! I'll ask my dad to measure for me but I think I probably got 2".

Moderate-heavy huge dendrites falling from the sky. MAYBE I’ll eke out 2.5-3”.

these dendrites are pretty damn huge here in McLean. need that band to come north, and i have a hunch it's starting to do that bc of the increased flake size

i measured 0.3" as of 7 am, so even though it may not seem like it, we're still on track as of now.

that band in fredricksburg looks to make its way to DC region very soon, probably around 8.

McLean roads are covered with 1/3" of snow. you can't even see the pavement, and boy is it slippery out there. Let's see if FCPS should've closed.
