  4. if I could react to my own posts, I would react with a weenie as well
  5. well i'll be damned. DC winter storm on December 3-4.
  6. i know, right? to my delight i saw the "HOT" thing and i thought we were getting hyped, and then i read about last rites for december in fucking november. wtf are we doing yall?
  7. pretty decent signal for a rainstorm around nov 30-dec 1. maybe some energy can sneak past the mountains on the 29th while the cold air is still there for some tv snow
  8. The December to remember or the usual crap? Find out on this month-long special of Weenies Hope for Snow!
  9. how bad was the concussion dude? did you get some severe personality disorder or something??
  10. I understand what you're trying to get at, and I agree with you--December isn't looking warm at all, especially for those north of Baltimore. I have no idea where some of those people get that idea from. However, I think it's important to take responsibility, as I thought you had tried to cover up warm trends on the weeklies. Obviously we have our different perspectives as to what happens, but I was just commenting on what I noticed. Winter isn't over at all, because we're still in November, and we have no idea what the end result will be. Nothing is set in stone. So here's to a snowy winter!
  11. I mean, this highlights a problem you bring up all the time about people like snowman spreading their agenda, because here you do a similar thing. Whenever the weeklies show something good you're like "it'll be cold" but whenever the weeklies trend bad you cover it up as shown above.
  12. I don't think the pattern will continue into the end of December. There's a colder signal for then. There's not much to worry about right now, especially for the NE folks.
  13. let it torch in early-december, IDC too much. just let it be cold mid-late december
  14. GFS maybe, GEFS not so much. SE ridge only really flexes around December 2-4 before the cold air starts pushing east. Definitely something to watch but I'm not too concerned right now.
  15. is this a pattern issue or is this just a warm/wet cold/dry mantra? i would somewhat agree with the assertion of warm/wet cold/dry winters, however i would disagree when saying that the patterns itself have been bad. it's just that the good patterns didn't produce. please correct me if i'm wrong.

    Winter 2025-26

Correct me if I'm wrong, but essentially what you're saying is that we’ll probably still get colder later in December, but the pattern is now looking less “textbook perfect” than it did before; it looks more like a pattern driven mainly by the MJO rather than a more powerful and sustained cold setup from both the Pacific and the Atlantic.
