  1. Two days of flood watches, two days of zero rain.
  2. The one aspect of Colorado weather I'll never get adjusted to is when temps start to drop right after sunset, then randomly go up later in the evening.
  3. Another dry night as tangible ran fell a couple miles to my north, east, and south.
  4. ABout an inch the last two days. Sorely needed. More today please.
  5. I got a good half inch last night, though as has been the case, a couple miles away got double that. Hopefully we get a repeat tonight.
  6. And yet again the bulk of the rain is just a couple miles away from me and I'll be limping to get to 0.1"
  7. Now 60%. So glad I'm boarding a cruise ship today that'll be heading into that area next week.
  8. After 15 years living in the DMV, now 5 years living in the high plains desert in Colorado, I am not looking forward to all that humidity when I fly in tomorrow.
  9. Only if you promise to donate your strength to the season's ACE score.
  10. Hasn't this been in the works for 10 or so years when Congress pulled funding?
  11. 0.7" from this morning (though that's probably inflated by the hail), but just some drips since then. Both rounds of afternoon storms missed me.
  12. Some juicy stuff in afternoon round 1, but it missed me by a couple miles. We'll see if round 2 gives me anything. But after this morning I'm fine if I don't
  13. Not often I wake up to early morning hail storms in Colorado. Had a few at 1.5" or so, maybe bigger since it was a little bit before I could get outside to measure them.
  14. I'll be curious how those fare vs. traditional tropical models.
  15. A wicked hail storm about to go through Pueblo. Reported hail of nearly 3"
  16. Two days in a row with severe thunderstorm trains that missed me by a couple miles.
  17. Happened again today. Nice storm, drifting northwest. I'm about 10 miles as the crow flies from Kiowa. By the time the storm got to me, it was sprinkles.
  18. And another one 5 miles north of me that I didn't even realize happened until yesterday. There was some buzz about lack of a warning for it since it started as a landspout and by the time NWS got any radar or human eyes on it, it was too late.
  19. I ended up getting in some nice bands and logged 1.2" A flurry or two mixed in once in a while but the cooler air never arrived.
  20. The trailing edge of the precip is about to come through my area. HRRR says it rains the rest of the day, but radar isn't backfilling further east so maybe we get a lull for a while
