    I want a snowstorm just like the rest of us, but every model has been trending towards Euro Ai which has been locked in our a miss to the south.

    So looking over the models looks like we need to route for the vort over the NE to dive as far south as possible for us to have any chance of snow.

    im not a king at reading 500 but seems like when it loses that closed off low in the baja area. that leads to a better outcome

    Remember models are now ejecting it out slower. Which has led to the type of out come Euro showed last night.

    00z rgem ejects SW follows suit with 00z trend

    At 54 noticeably more east with that Baja vort. looking promising so far.

    GFS through 45 has the Baja vort more east

    Both Ai models are the ones that locked in snow for us when all other models did not. From what i remember those locked in around that window 84-96 hours. They maybe the way to go now. Believe @Ellinwood can speak to that.
