    I'd agree-daylight shortening quickly now, gets harder as you enter late August and with cooler weather this week that takes us to 8/22 and beyond before any return to heat.

    onshore flow with water temps 75-80 off NJ so would think so. (I'll be at the shore so works for me!)

    Have about 15 inches here-mostly in July with 4 plus inches on 7/3. June dry until the last 5 days or so. August with about .50

    some burn here too and I'm 5 miles inland from the sound. I also have salt on my south facing windows... Nothing like what you're describing but you all face the open Atlantic vs the sound.

    apparantly the 12zUKie looks similar to the 12z GFS-into FL and then mostly inland once to SC. A non event for us verbatim outside of some heavy rains etc.

    really the only winter event we have not experienced here over the last 20 yrs....would love to see a redux of this one someday
